The R&D company Labor İldam founded at Teknopark İstanbul
GoldenEye Solutions is the sister company that Labor İldam, active in laboratory and hospital equipment since 1979, established at Teknopark İstanbul in 2019 to carry its development work. One team builds the software that runs cellular therapy and biobanking processes, the hardware that measures the environment those processes take place in, and the embedded systems that join the two.
Where we come from
GoldenEye was not founded as an independent startup. It is the continuation of more than forty years of field experience. Labor İldam has worked in laboratory and hospital equipment since 1979, as the Turkish representative and authorized technical service for ultra-low temperature freezers, liquid nitrogen tanks, incubators, biosafety cabinets and sterilizers. Over that time one problem kept recurring: institutions bought the right equipment and stored material under the right conditions, but could not prove it.
The software and measurement hardware that produce that proof could not be developed inside an equipment sales and service business. They needed a separate engineering discipline and a separate R&D structure. That is why GoldenEye Solutions was founded at Teknopark İstanbul in 2019, as Labor İldam's sister company. Today the two are two faces of one business: one carries the field and the equipment, the other carries the process and the record.
See the Labor İldam partnership page for how responsibility is split.

What we do
Where is the sample, what processing has it been through, under what conditions is it held, who intervened and when. These questions used to be answered with paper forms and spreadsheets. Once audits, accreditation bodies and regulators began requiring answers in electronic, tamper-evident form retained for thirty years, the gap widened.
We close that gap in three layers: software that models the process, instruments that measure the environment, and the record infrastructure that joins them. When those three come from three suppliers, responsibility scatters. Developed under one roof, there is one party to talk to. Since 2026 we also manufacture our own boards at our production facility at Teknopark İstanbul.

Team and capability
The team is made up of engineers working in embedded systems, electronic design, enterprise software architecture and laboratory processes. On the product side there is support from biologists and laboratory specialists, academic advisors, and Labor İldam's technical service team.
On the software side we use Java, Spring Boot, Vaadin, PostgreSQL with TimescaleDB, the Camunda process engine, ActiveMQ, HL7 integration through Apache Camel, JasperReports and audit trail libraries. On the hardware side ESP32, STM32 and ARM processors, boards of our own design, electrochemical oxygen, NDIR carbon dioxide, differential pressure, temperature and humidity sensors, and MQTT, Modbus, RS485, OPC UA and CAN interfaces. Domain knowledge covers 21 CFR Part 11, cGMP, GAMP 5, EU Annex 11, ISO 13485, ISBT 128, FACT-JACIE and cell and tissue manufacturing processes.
How we work
- We listen to the process. The institution's own procedure and audit history are the starting point. The software is installed to produce the record of the process, not to change it.
- We write the requirement. The user requirement specification and scope are settled before a proposal.
- We install and qualify. Installation, data migration, acceptance testing and IQ/OQ documentation run together.
- We stay in the field. An annual maintenance and support agreement, remote assistance, and on-site intervention through the Labor İldam service network take over from there.
R&D and grant projects
Completed or running: a KOSGEB product development project (GE-100 MultiSensor), a KOSGEB R&D project (HDBO and multi-vial scanning), a KOSGEB SME technology investment project (the SMT production line), the Teknopark İstanbul project portfolio, and the TÜBİTAK-supported ŞAHİT project. See Certificates and projects for detail.
