GE-202
IoT module for temperature, humidity and alarm contact monitoring, with WiFi, Ethernet and RS485, MQTT and Modbus support, and local buffering when the network is unavailable.
AvailableGE-202 is the field end of the monitoring system: a compact module that reads temperature, humidity and alarm contacts and delivers them to a central platform, or to an existing automation system, without requiring the monitored device to be replaced.

Specification
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Onboard sensor | Temperature and relative humidity |
| External sensors | Up to eight DS18B20 on one bus; optional RTD (PT100) down to −100 °C |
| Digital input | One dry contact for device alarm or door status |
| Network | WiFi 2.4 GHz, Ethernet 10/100, RS485 |
| Protocols | MQTT with TLS 1.2, JSON payloads, RTC timestamps; Modbus RTU slave |
| Buffer | 3,840 records retained when the connection is lost |
| Power | DC adapter, optional battery backup; wall or panel mount |
Why local buffering matters
In audited environments the value of a monitoring system is tested during a network outage. Measurements are stamped from the module's own real-time clock and held locally, then delivered in order when the connection returns. Without this, an outage becomes a gap in the record.
Two ways to use it
- With BIOSECURE and GE-MON for a complete monitoring, alarm and reporting chain
- As a Modbus RTU slave into an existing SCADA or building management system
