GE-MON
Central monitoring and alarm management for critical equipment and environments: ULT freezers, cryogenic tanks, incubators, cleanrooms and infrastructure, with a staged alarm chain and audit-ready reporting.
AvailableA minus eighty freezer usually fails at night or over a weekend. Its own audible alarm sounds in an empty corridor, and the first person in on Monday finds years of samples thawed. Central monitoring exists for that scenario, and the answer is not simply "add a sensor": the right threshold, the right delay, an escalation path that reaches a person, and a record that can later serve as evidence are all required together.
What is monitored
| Area | Parameters |
|---|---|
| Freezers (+4 to −86 °C) | Temperature, door contact, device alarm contact, loss of device communication |
| Cryogenic tanks | Internal temperature, liquid nitrogen level, fill status, controller alarm |
| Incubators | Temperature, CO₂, O₂, relative humidity, door |
| Cleanroom and laboratory | Temperature, humidity, differential pressure, particle count, cabinet airflow |
| Cryogenic storage room | Oxygen concentration, visual and audible warning, HVAC relay control |
| Infrastructure | UPS and generator status, water leak, medical gas and LN2 supply line |

Staged alarms
Threshold, delay and escalation path are configured independently for each device. A typical chain waits for a defined period, then sends email, then SMS, then places a voice call to a responsible list. Who acknowledged the alarm, when and with what reason is part of the record — alarm delays should be justified and documented, not left implicit.

How data is collected
- GE-202 for temperature, humidity and contact inputs over MQTT
- GE-100 for oxygen, carbon dioxide and differential pressure over Modbus
- GE-EDGE for existing controllers from PHCbi, Haier, Worthington, Chart, Nüve and others
- Existing monitoring hardware from third parties can be adopted rather than replaced
Records and reporting
Measurements are stored in a time series database with device, sensor and timestamp. Dashboards, historical charts with threshold bands, excursion and recovery curves, and PDF or Excel reports for a chosen period are available for audit. Access is role-based and changes are written to an audit trail.
Calibration certificates and maintenance records are attached to the device card, so an inspector can see the measurement and its traceability in the same place.
